I loved it and I loved how the prom scene was done. One of my main critiques with the Carrie adaptations is that she’s never a chunky girl… like that’s the whole point of the pigs blood! I will say that Carrie being uber thin does make sense for the whole Christian fundamentalist aspect of it, but idk I would like to see a chunky Carrie and a chunky girl finally getting her get back. We also never see just how tortured Carrie is. Like she can read the minds of those around her and most of the people around her hate her. I think that it would make Carrie snapping more of a powerful moment for me personally and it would make ms.desjardins death more understandable. That lady did not like Carrie and she knew it. I still think it’s the best adaptation yet. Just my opinion!
