This is also true at J.C.Penny, if its named brand like Nike or Clarks they wouldn’t be part of the normal discounts because they are just associates with the company

They sell Levi's at Walmart, that sh!t ain't luxury and they should def honor that coupon. And lbr, brand name products at Kohl's are cheaper made versions. Like Kohl's Nike is not the same as getting it straight from Nike or even Dick's

It’s not all name brands that don’t accept coupons. Some companies don’t allow it like Nike.

I have beef with Kohls. I was leaving the register and turned around straight into a pole. the same cashier that watched this then came into my place of work a few days later! why you putting poles in the middle of the walkway!

The coupons usually say something about certain brands being excluded.. they just don’t write down every single brand .. this was how it was when I worked at Mervyns, and that was over 25 years ago .. same with Toys R Us fir things like Lego & Fame Systems

if it's not on the coupon, it doesn't count. you can't just have that policy buried in a book somewhere in the background that is either inaccessible or not easily accessible to your customer base. well an individual lawsuit would be unlikely, a class action suit certainly clears this up pretty quick.

I thought it was going to be that the coupon wouldn’t cover clearance, which I feel like is pretty common. Having items not included and not listed in the fine print is false advertising!

it should have said on the coupon that Nike, Levi, Champion, Disney, UnderArmor, Adidas... are not included in the sale OR the cashier has to adjust the price. I know JCPenney does that.
