@trekkiekatie: Edit of “765874 Unification,” the short film made by the Rodenberry Archives. Rewatched it recently & it’s still one of the most moving things I have ever seen. This is from the middle bit… there’s another scene after!! #startrek #captainkirk

We’re all different people all through our lives. And that’s OK, that’s good, you gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be.

kirk :

I love star trek❤️

Perry Harovas :

I know some of the people who made this. It uses the same software we use at work. Not generative AI, but it’s actually rendering software. It’s called Octane Render. It simulates physical properties of light and materials to make things more realistic. It’s a beautiful piece. Incredibly moving for a Star Trek fans like myself.

Talon :

Death isn't a being that cruel or filled with malice. Death, like time, is a companion on our journey through life. And while time reminds us to cherish each moment, Death reminds us just how precious our lives are. Death teaches us to never fear the end, but to embrace every moment and never leave with regrets in our heart.

Carl B :

I’ve watched this like six times maybe more now, I scrolled ahead and came back to it. Its like grief and peace wrapped into one. I could read a million word fic about it. I just am aching and happy all at once, it gives me dread but fills me with hope. I have no idea the context of it but if its Kirk dying, facing the unknown, then its profoundly complicated because he lives on in a microcosm in our heads and yet he’s gone. He’s at peace, but he’s still an ongoing player. He deserves the rest.

venus :

I wanna make 1 for myself
