My kids LOVE @Hamilton , and since the show is at the #FoxTheatre in ATL through Sunday 9/20… what did we do? 😂 Bought tickets THE DAY BEFORE for a random Tuesday night show. And we loved EVERY SECOND! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 If you’re planning to take the kids, here are 10 things I learned: 1️⃣ Uber > Downtown ATL traffic + parking. We decided to Uber and save ourselves the headache. 😂 2️⃣ Get there EARLY! They suggest arriving about an hour before the show, and baby… Hamilton starts ON TIME. Plan accordingly! 3️⃣ Dinner before the show = quick & easy. I grabbed pizza 🍕 after school for a quick grab-and-go dinner. 4️⃣ It was VERY kid-friendly! I was actually surprised by how many kids were there on a school night. 5️⃣ Homework FIRST. 😂 I made my kids clean their rooms AND do Monday + Tuesday’s homework on Monday night. Because you’re not about to miss a homework grade because you wanted to see Hamilton! 😂 6️⃣ If you’re a content creator, PLAN your content. I wish I had been more intentional about what I wanted to capture, but at the same time, I wanted to be PRESENT and enjoy the experience with my family. ❤️ 7️⃣ Bathroom + snacks BEFORE the show. Intermission gets CROWDED. 8️⃣ Grab your merch before the show too! Avoid fighting those long lines afterward. 9️⃣ Accessibility: There is an elevator available for guests who need accessible accommodations. ♿️ 🔟 HAVE FUN! Sing the songs in your head 😂 (or to yourself), enjoy the experience with your family, and make some memories.
