This ALMOST happened to me a few weeks ago at Canadas wonderland. As I was going up, I shifted in my seat a little bit, and the lap bar completely opened up. I was terrified. I pushed it back down as hard as I could and held on for dear life on the seat belt. I have NEVER had anything like that happen and I’ve been on behemoth and leviathan a million times. So sad to hear. 😔

One time I was in the leviathan and while I was halfway up the start the seat randomly unlatched and jumped up. I could not for the life of me get it to stay down and eventually I just held it there, then right before I got to the top it randomly clicked back in. This has happened to others I know too, I think it’s always on the left side lol

I was so skinny as a child and always felt like I was going to slip out the ride. I’d hold on for dear life. Definitely need better safety measures to these rides.

In 2015 I went in the behemoth and that was my final time ever going in a roller coaster.. I was hanging on for my dear life! I was literally slipping out of my seat and the harness was on extremely loose. 🥺

It’s not safe at all, every single time that I went to wonderland and I would NEVER go on those rides because they don’t look safe and don’t have enough buckle safety

I rode leviathan and felt like I was gonna fall out of my seat thinking I was gonna fly out cuz there was no extra seat restraint. I will never ride that again, this was last year! I pray for this man's family and could only imagine. I refused to ride behemoth when. it first came out for this reason with no extra restraint as safety, this was always my fear. if mechanics fail, a safety belt wouldve saved this poor man's life!

The day I went on the leviathan, I knew it was my last because I never felt SECURE ENOUGH. I don’t even know how people even enjoy rides that feel like you’re about to fall out at any minute.
