I’m telling you.. the c clip on the end of that shaft is what’s stuck.. an air hammer would’ve knocked it right out

put in neutral, push the axel stub back in rotate 90-180° then try again, the c-clip is just in the wrong position my guy

They have also a single wrench for all Cv axles at Harbor Freight Tools it just looks like a giant hook looking wrench

Try to get a crowbar behind the Cvc axle and pry it out

man add a c attachment for the slide hammer goes behind the CV axle.... it's never let me down the vice grip I've never had luck with glad you did....

Just use a ball joint fork not the popper with the attachment on it but the little tuning for pop it in there and hit it with a 20 pound sledge between axle and transmission to pull axles

I've welded a bad rear axle from a Chevy g20 on one like this with a pipe with other scrap attached to the pipe. chain on that lump of sliding scrap on a pipe and two of us wailed on it sliding the pipe with the chain. it took four or five wacks and the spot behind the clip halfway broke and started separating. new axle wouldn't go in easy. dude who's car it was tried to file the splines inside it. then we just took the axle apart and hammered the cup section in and then put the boot back on. no idea if it ever came back out.

Isn’t there a slide lock on the back of every cv axle you have to push on to disconnect them? Has been on everyone I have ever dealt with
