There is no troupe in actual samba, which is why the ruling only uses the word “partner”.

It was partner work, as he had partners. And a lift by definition. I get it, and even though it’s a technical fault in the choreo, Jenna should know her judges and abide by the rules! They still scored just fine so it’s kind of a moot point to me also tho lol
