As i know, when Marcos senior was in power, that’s the time our country is high on the ranks in Asia. He may be getting something from our country at least is just him. After his reign, everyone sucked the country dry, up to now.

The system in Philippines was designed against its very own people,to keep them in poverty & compliant. Lets take a quick scenario,a quick visit to the supermarket for groceries cost almost same like Singapore,their water is inexpensive but an electricity bill for a single person living could cost about S$100,slightly less than Singapore but more than 1/2 of Malaysia which has a better infrastructure overall.Today the majority of manual labor,construction,road works & even security is filled by local filipinos.But the cost of living,in many areas is almost like 1st world Singapore.It was the system & the design.
