Halloween Oreo Cookie Skillet 🎃🍪 Ingredients: 10 tbsp (140g) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled ⅔ cup (134g) brown sugar, packed ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar 1 egg + 1 egg yolk, room temp 2 tsp vanilla extract 1⅔ cups (210g) all-purpose flour, spooned & leveled or weighed (don’t pack it in) ½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt ½ cup chocolate chips 5-6 halloween oreos, roughly chopped 2 tbsp halloween sprinkles (use jimmies, they’ll bleed less!) Topping: 3-4 chopped halloween oreos Halloween sprinkles Candy eyes + ice cream & chocolate syrup if you’d like! Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet (mine is enameled). Whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix until fully combined. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips, halloween oreos, and halloween sprinkles/jimmies. Press the dough evenly into the prepared skillet. Top with more chopped oreos & sprinkles. (I also add the candy eyes at this step but if you’re worried they’ll melt, you can add it after baking. Ovens vary) Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set but still soft. Let it cool for 30-45 minutes before adding ice cream/chocolate syrup. Enjoy! #bakingrecipe #cookieskillet #halloweenbaking #halloweenrecipes #fallrecipes
