🇺🇸 Tuscumbia, Alabama, United States — 1880 Helen Keller was born in 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. At just 19 months old, she lost both her sight and hearing after an illness, believed to be scarlet fever or meningitis. Despite these challenges, her life changed when her teacher, Anne Sullivan, began working with her. Sullivan famously taught Keller to communicate by spelling words into her hand, opening the door to language and education. Through determination and years of learning, Keller achieved what many once believed was impossible. In 1904, she became the first deaf-blind person in the United States to earn a college degree, graduating from Radcliffe College. Throughout her life, Keller became a writer, lecturer, and activist, authoring multiple books and advocating for people with disabilities, women’s rights, labor rights, and social justice. She traveled the world giving lectures and even met with multiple U.S. presidents—from Grover Cleveland to Lyndon B. Johnson. Helen Keller passed away in 1968, but her story remains one of the most powerful examples of resilience, determination, and the human spirit overcoming unimaginable obstacles. Her legacy continues to inspire millions around the world. 🎥 Follow @darklens_30 for more dark true crime & shocking history like this. #viral #reels #History #inspiration #education

Mein eigenes Kind könnte mich theoretisch umbringen. 👀👇🏼 #impfung #medizin #chronischkrank #awarness #chronicillness
