This happened to me. I didn’t even know I was a part of the HOA and they didn’t give me any proof when I asked, but they kept pressuring me for the payment I gave in.😔

when HOA started years ago. it was only to budget the fees and make the necessary repairs and up keep of the property as needed. Nothing else. These people are in such a power trip.

yes HOA don't enforce their rules ,don't handle there account with payments for HOA payments and if something happens they don't take accountability and want you to pay fines that they cause I regret moving into a HOA community and the things is i didn't know it was understand a HOA property until a two months after I got the house!

When your house is worth over $600,000.00 AND your neighbor chooses to not mow his front lawn on a regular basis, their back yard is 1-2 feet high (a haven for snakes), they decide to PARK two trailers in their driveway AND an RV on the street—then you would appreciate an HOA!

I got a notice in the mail about my grass. It was a little high not gone lie but the guy who cut my grass wasn’t responding to me. I got it taken care of. However, my neighborhood is newer and still developing. The grass behind the mailboxes and the grass by the supposedly retention pond area is extremely high and unappealing. So I went and took pictures and emailed the HOA company asking if we’re held accountable to maintain our grass, then they need to be held accountable for the areas around the neighborhood that they suppose to be maintained. In addition, I asked her what exactly are the HOA fees covering considering the grass isn’t being maintained in those areas. She responded back and I think now she knows to come correct because I will go back and forth with them. I salute you for stepping up for yourself!
