@dailyinsightph_: LENI, NAKIKITAAN NG ‘SENSE’ ANG PANAWAGANG ‘BALDE’ NI BONGBONG Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo has expressed support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s call to use buckets to collect and store rainwater, saying the initiative makes sense as communities prepare for the anticipated strong El Niño phenomenon. Robredo said the Naga City government plans to purchase large drums to collect rainwater for reuse in various activities, including washing vehicles, cleaning pavements, flushing toilets, and other purposes that do not require potable water. She emphasized that instead of allowing rainwater to simply flow back into the ground, residents and local governments could collect it for practical use. According to Robredo, the initiative could help reduce water consumption from the local water district, lower water expenses, and promote responsible water conservation. The planned rainwater collection system forms part of the Naga City government's broader preparations for the expected very strong El Niño, which could place additional pressure on local water resources. 📹 Radyo Pilipinas Naga #Dailyinsight
