This is actually wild. Lots of South Africans want to move to the US for Education and opportunities. And yet I’ve seen a lot of people move from the US to South Africa for safety. Are there no parts in the US that’s safe for kids? I was in Maryland earlier this year and it looked quite safe there.

Nothing anyone says will ever convince me that south Africa is the safer option😂😂😂😂because I lived in Hanover Park where a 15 teenage friend of my 3 sons was shot and killed. We didn't move, we ran. All the best to u and ur kids❤️🙏

I'm so glad you can have that privileged, Cape Town prevalence vs the poor. In some communities in Cape Town kids still have to hide under their desks while bullets fly. I'm glad you have that peace really. It's just very different when you have privilege in Cape Town.

If you have money in SA you can lead a very good life, particularly in Cape Town. However most of us lives in a different world. Irony is many South Africans who can are leaving for the USA where they believe it's safer for their kids.
