@ilopez2020: I couldn’t be more proud of you, son, and how far you’ve come in your soccer journey. One of my biggest blessings as a dad is being able to give you opportunities I never had growing up and travel alongside you while you chase your dreams doing what you love. This was Toros FC’s first big tournament competing in MLS NEXT, and although we didn’t get the results we hoped for as a team, you had an amazing tournament individually. Keep putting in the work, stay humble, and continue believing in yourself. This is only the beginning, and I know the best is yet to come! This trip was definitely one for the books! From being away from the rest of our family, to a hurricane heading our way, and multiple game stoppages due to lightning, we definitely had quite the adventure! But through it all, these are the moments I’ll cherish forever. It’s about so much more than soccer. It’s about the memories we make, the places we get to see, and watching you grow into the young man you’re becoming. I can’t wait to continue making memories with you and our little family throughout your soccer journey. No matter where this game takes you, I’ll always be your biggest supporter. Love you, son! #MLSNEXTCupQualifiers #provoutah #prouddad #mlsnextacademy #mlsnextacademyballers @408_mateo7 @MLS NEXT
