if I can give you any advice after any abdominal surgery is to make a heating pad your friend. also whenever you're sneezing coffee laughing farting make sure that you have a pillow or two to hold against your abdominal wall. and one of the things they don't tell you is that you're going to have to make sure that you can actually pass gas comfortably. I've had many abdominal surgeries and this is what I've learned from experience.
