@mothershipsg: Air quality in the west of Singapore has entered the Very High band with a 1-hour PM2.5 reading of 284 at 2pm on Oct. 14. The central, east, and south regions were in the high range with 206, 195, and 159 1-hour PM2.5 readings respectively. The north recorded the lowest reading at 125, still within the elevated range. When 1-hour PM2.5 readings are in the Very High range, the National Environment Agency advises healthy people to minimise all outdoor activity for the next hour. The elderly, pregnant women, children, and people with chronic heart or lung conditions should avoid all outdoor activity for the next hour.
