I went to that same location last Saturday not knowing it was the grand reopening, looking at a lot of the toys just reminded me of a 2nd hand store that decided to put ToysRUs outside, highly disappointed

I went to the one in Northridge the other day, it’s not the same. It does have some elements of the old Toys “R” Us that I appreciate but it honestly mostly just felt like a discounted toy section in the back of Macy’s or something. Like nothing’s gonna be the old target size brick and border Toys “R” Us. It also doesn’t help that while not the company’s fault but toys aimed at kids in the last 15 years have just gone into worse/ lamer and it kind of shows now
