I slept in my car for a year. bought some land and parked on it and camped out got the water on and bout a hose pipe and the little handle and took showers like that 🤣 one step at a time.

The one thing I had to have sleeping in my car was visibility of my surroundings.. When ppl see cars parked off,windows blacked out with objects.. They tend to wanna break in them..I always parked in a grocery lot,hospital lot where it’s 24hr surveillance going.. usually informed property owners or workers That I’m there and made sure it was ok for me to park there.. Had a cop who would drive by and check on me his whole shift. And when it got below zero he would put me up in a motel til temperatures were above freezing..

You need to take your seat belts in the front and put them through the handles of the door and seat belt them back in for more security

ive had to do this too. i had a spark. living next to a hwy. never slept well in the summer in Mississippi and all my stuff in it too so I stayed in the driver seat. in comparison you are doing a lot better than me. May God bless you.

listen, I lived out of my car for nearly a year from March 2025 to March 2026. I saved a lot of money, and thankfully that savings got me through today not having to work. You've gotta do what you need to do. Don't worry about what others think because there are soooo many more people you will discover over time are doing the same thing and will support and offer you assistance as you go along. I wander back and forth daily to go back to it my damn self. You've got it. 🩷 And if you go live, trust that people will come in and talk to you.

You should go to auto zone and buy their darkest tint and make ONE window tinted so you can see out of it at night. You NEED to be aware of your surroundings! When I was homeless, I took my tint down during the day and tatped it to my windows at night. I double stacked the tint to make sure no one could see in because I sleep in the nude! 😂 slept in my car for 3 years, ZERO issues! 🙏🏾
