@emberlyn.brooks: 🌉 Stop 1: The Bridge Underpass View - Standing under a giant steel bridge with the Manhattan skyline glowing across the water is such a "wow, I'm really in New York" moment. 📸 Pro tip: Walk to the railing and shoot toward the sun for sparkly water and a soft skyline glow. Tap your screen to lower the brightness so the buildings stay sharp! 🌸 Stop 2: The Riverside Promenade - A calm path next to the water, with trees, benches, and long afternoon shadows, is the perfect break from the busy city. 🌿 A floral midi dress with black sneakers is easy, comfy, and looks great against the blue sky. Pro tip: Go in the late afternoon, when the light is warm and the shadows on the path make your photos look extra cinematic! 🚶‍♀️ Stop 3: The Candid Walk Shot - Walk slowly toward the camera, look off to the side, and let your dress move. The best photos look natural, not posed. ✨ Pro tip: Ask your photographer to use burst mode and shoot from a slightly low angle. It makes the skyline look taller and the shot more dramatic! 💡 Helpful Tips for Your NYC Waterfront Walk: ✅ Wear comfy sneakers. You can easily walk 10,000+ steps ✅ Bring sunglasses, because the sun over the water gets bright ✅ Go on a weekday morning or late afternoon for fewer crowds ✅ Pack a small crossbody bag so your hands stay free for photos ✅ Bring a light layer, since it gets breezy by the river when the sun starts to set ✅ Check the subway or tram route before you go, because some waterfront spots are easier to reach than they look New York isn't always loud and crowded. Sometimes it's a quiet path, a big bridge, and a skyline that makes you stop and stare. 💙 What's your favorite hidden spot in NYC?
