Hi, I’m slowly finishing a PhD in sustainability education from a small extremely leftist college. I have a masters of science in sustainable food systems as well. What I have learned: Most of us aren’t capitalists because we don’t make our money from owning things, we trade our labor for goods and services and are being held down by the owner class. Listening to you, it sounds like you are interested in participating in a circular economy or building sustainable community—one that honors Earth, ecosystems, and all people. That is beautiful and powerful and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish.
