Robinson International Airport, but attended the ceremony nonetheless after former Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley offered to take her as his guest. In a pointed social media post on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, Cudjoe-Lewis appeared to take aim at her exclusion from the guest list, declaring that changes in government cannot erase the contributions of those who worked to deliver the multibillion-dollar airport development. The former government minister also revealed that she deliberately wore the same dress she had worn at the airport's commissioning ceremony last year, apparently sending a message to those she believes are attempting to diminish the previous administration's role in the project. "No invitation. No problem," Cudjoe-Lewis declared, accompanied by a winking emoji. She explained that she attended the ceremony at the invitation of Rowley after he learnt that she had not received an official invitation. "Today, I proudly attended the opening of the ANR Robinson International Airport’s East Terminal as the guest of former Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley. When he heard that I was not invited he offered me to attend as his guest. 1 Rowley, Never 2!" Cudjoe-Lewis also shared a video showing her attending the function alongside the former Prime Minister and PNM leader. Same dress, pointed message "And yes, I wore the same dress I wore at the Commissioning of the airport last year! They could try to rewrite the story, but we will always remember," she wrote. Her remarks appeared to suggest that she believes attempts are being made to overlook or minimise the role played by the former PNM administration in bringing the airport project to fruition. Cudjoe-Lewis, who served as a government minister under the previous administration, maintained that the development represented years of effort and commitment to Tobago's advancement. "While governments may change, the significance of this investment and the work that went into making it a reality cannot be erased," she stated. The PNM deputy political leader insisted that her decision to attend was motivated by the importance of the airport to Tobago rather than any desire for personal recognition.
