Poconos, Pennsylvania | October 12, 2026 THE CASE On October 12, 2026, a family staying at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos became the focus of a double homicide investigation after 27-year-old Metallica Rose Harrison allegedly k*lled her husband, Charles Harrison, and their three-year-old son inside room 2030. Harrison, of Towanda, Pennsylvania, faces two counts of criminal homicide. The child is identified in court documents by the initials T.H. The family had reportedly been staying at the resort for several weeks. ............ THE TIMELINE September 21, 2026 — Check-in The family reportedly checked into Great Wolf Lodge on September 21. Their stay was extended on October 5, placing them at the resort for about three weeks before the deaths. ........ October 12, 2026 — 911 call At approximately 3:15 p.m., Harrison called emergency services and reportedly told dispatchers that her “husband and son are already gone.” Officers responded to room 2030 and found Charles Harrison and T.H. suffering from fatal stab wounds. Their deaths prompted a double homicide investigation. ......... THE VICTIMS Charles Harrison reportedly suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest. T.H. suffered a single stab wound. Authorities have not established a confirmed motive or fully determined what occurred before police arrived. ......... THE EVIDENCE Investigators reportedly recovered two knives from the room’s bathroom. Resort staff said the knives were not normally provided by the lodge. Several medication bottles were also found, but available information does not explain their purpose or establish whether they were connected to the deaths. ........... THE ARREST AND CHARGES Harrison was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Stroudsburg after the incident. According to the case report, she faces two counts of criminal homicide and had not been arraigned at the time of reporting. Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso called the incident a “violent domestic tragedy” and said there was no threat to the public. #truecrimetiktok #truecrime #greatwolflodge #pennsylvania #crimestory
