If you increase welfare, less people will be willing to work. If less people are willing to work, our GDP plumits, if our GDP plumits, then our tax income plumits, if our tax income plumits, we make budget cuts, if we make budget cuts we reduce welfare. It's all a big cycle.

If you work and do well in life, you pay tax. Fact. The more you tax success, the less incentive people have to work harder, invest and create wealth. And if you're advocating taxing assets people have already worked and paid tax to acquire, that's simply theft. Dressing it up as fairness doesn't make you any less of a thief. And that's a FACT.
