So if I have a broken skin barrier (because oily but dehydrated skin) it would be better to repair it and THEN start with azelaic acid? Because I don't have sensitive skin but I'm scared it might irritate the skin if the "base" is not in good conditions

Interesting, in Pakistan it comes with the name of "Skinoren", made by the same company as the Azlea cream and is considered a holy grail here. It's usually always sold out in many pharmacies due to the popularity 🥲
