@oyaropeter: A school mission is important because it gives everyone — students, teachers, parents, and leaders — a shared sense of purpose and direction. It clarifies what the school values beyond exam scores, whether that is character, innovation, service, or excellence, and it becomes the standard for making decisions about curriculum, discipline, hiring, and resources. When it is lived out daily, it shapes the school culture, creates consistency and accountability, and helps the community know what it stands for and what it is working to become together.
