@mrsmara_mara: Replying to @shebashasha 🍨🛍💅🏾 "Handle Yourself With Care" 💅🏾🛍🍨 Who says everything has to make sense? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Sometimes I just want to let my imagination wander and create a world where anything is possible! A grocery store beside a waterfall, a beauty salon beneath a magnificent purple tree, a few sweet delights, a little nourishment for the body and soul, some much-needed pampering, and absolutely no rules! 💜 Sometimes taking care of yourself means giving your imagination permission to roam, creating whatever your heart desires, building a world of your own, and making room for all things pretty, even when none of it makes sense! There's joy in creating simply because you can. 🥰 But there's also a message in all this beautiful randomness. Handle yourself with care. Relax. We spend so much time taking care of everything and everyone else that sometimes we forget we need that same care, too. God tells us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. Those burdens were never ours to carry in the first place. It's okay to slow down, enjoy the little things, and give yourself some grace along the way. 😌 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” ~ Matthew 11:28–30 (MSG) Beautiful background paper and adorable storefronts from @JournalWithAnto and gorgeous Purple PET tape from @The Lovely Journal Use code MARA10 for a discount!
