Goodburn, who was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma when he was 22, is set to meet with Mr Burnham after making an emotional appeal for more action on brain tumours. Analysis from Brain Tumour Research found that three-quarters of research funding into brain tumours comes from the charity sector, compared to just 26% from Government.
