This is so true. I was asked “why didn’t you say anything back then?” “I did, but you didn’t listen to me, mom.” Up to this day, I know she still doubts me, only this time I DONT CARE. I have to go to therapy now been going for 4 years. It’s a lot of trauma that I went through as a child and I was ignored. Now I refuse to keep my mouth shut.
