@kikikiki_kikik: What do I even write here. Joey Jordison was one of the most influential drummers in the history of heavy metal. He was best known as the original drummer and one of the founding members of Slipknot, the legendary metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. With his incredible speed, technical ability, aggressive playing style, and unforgettable stage presence, Joey helped shape the sound of modern metal and inspired countless musicians around the world. To many fans, he was more than just a drummer. He was a symbol of passion, dedication, and the power of music. Nathan Jonas Jordison was born on April 26, 1975, in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. From a young age, he developed a strong interest in music, especially rock and heavy metal. He grew up listening to bands that would eventually influence his own playing style, including Metallica, Slayer, Kiss, and other legendary artists. Music became an important part of his life, and he spent years developing his skills behind the drum kit. Even before becoming famous, Joey showed extraordinary talent and a determination to become one of the best drummers in the world. In 1995, Joey became involved with a new band that would eventually become known as Slipknot. The group was different from anything most people had seen before. With nine members, disturbing masks, matching jumpsuits, chaotic live performances, and an extremely aggressive sound, Slipknot quickly developed a unique identity. Joey played a major role in building the band's musical foundation. His drumming combined speed, precision, powerful double bass patterns, and complex rhythms that gave Slipknot its distinctive intensity. Slipknot released its self-titled debut album in 1999, and it quickly became a landmark release in modern metal. Songs such as Wait and Bleed, Spit It Out, and Surfacing introduced the world to the band's explosive sound. Joey's drumming was a huge part of what made the album so powerful. He could play incredibly fast while maintaining impressive control, and his ability to move between complicated rhythms and relentless aggression made him stand out among other drummers. For many young musicians, hearing Joey play was the moment they realized how extraordinary metal drumming could be. In 2001, Slipknot released Iowa, an album that became one of the band's darkest and most aggressive records. The music was heavier, more intense, and emotionally raw. Joey's drumming on the album was absolutely incredible, combining relentless blast beats, fast double bass drumming, and complex patterns that pushed the band's sound even further. Tracks such as People = Shit, Disasterpiece, and The Heretic Anthem demonstrated his remarkable technical abilities. Iowa became one of Slipknot's most celebrated albums and remains a classic among metal fans. One of the things that made Joey so special was his ability to perform live. Onstage, he was energetic, intense, and completely dedicated to the music. His movements behind the drum kit were almost hypnotic, and his speed often seemed impossible. Despite being positioned behind the other members of the band, he managed to capture the attention of audiences around the world. Fans admired not only his talent but also the way he made drumming feel powerful and exciting. Joey was also known for his iconic Slipknot mask. During his time with the band, he wore a distinctive Japanese kabuki-inspired mask that became one of his most recognizable features. The mask reflected Slipknot's dark aesthetic and helped create the mysterious identity that made the band so memorable. Joey was assigned the number one in Slipknot, a number that became permanently associated with his legacy. - #joeyjordison #slipknot #eyeless #eyelessdrumsintro #7thingseverykidsneedstohear

Beginner drummer here and Joey was one of the best drummers of his time. I look to him not at his level yet though. I can do the top half semi fast. I have single kick so don’t get me started on double kick. Rip Joey. Make sure your kids hear this masterpiece
