@barkatthenews: Guns N’ Roses Plan to Take 2027 Off the Road to Work on New Music Guns N’ Roses are expected to step away from touring in 2027 as the band turns its attention to new music, according to guitarist Slash. Speaking on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, Slash said the band has a large amount of material to work through and hopes to use the break to bring it together. He explained that finding the time and focus to work collectively is difficult while they’re on tour. “Getting us together and trying to do that while you’re touring is next to impossible,” Slash said. He added that the band members create ideas individually on the road, but need time together to develop them. Slash also said the band’s next record is expected to feature all-new original material. The group has recently released several standalone tracks, including “Atlas” and “Nothin’”, which came out in December 2025. Before the planned break, Guns N’ Roses are due to finish their current run with shows in India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand in November and December.
