@chelaguerr: Yes, the underlying story is true. The text overlaying the image refers to major investigative reporting by The New York Times detailing intense scrutiny surrounding FBI Director Kash Patel. Investigators and current and former bureau officials raised serious questions regarding his extensive personal use of government jets and his directive to deploy taxpayer-funded FBI SWAT team members to act as a full-time security detail and run personal errands for his partner, country singer Alexis Wilkins. Case Details & Revelations • SWAT Protection: Bureau officials confirmed that SWAT-qualified special agents drawn from multiple field offices were assigned to escort and guard Wilkins. In one reported instance, Patel heavily reprimanded a team commander after a logistical issue left Wilkins briefly unescorted. • The Defense: A spokesperson for the FBI defended the security deployment, asserting that the intensive, full-time SWAT protection was highly necessary because Wilkins faced more than a dozen active death threats directly linked to her public relationship with the FBI Director. • Current Status: Despite the prolonged ethical scrutiny over the assignment of tactical units and government logistics, the couple has remained in the public eye. Just recently, on October 4, 2026, Patel and Wilkins officially announced their engagement via social media.
