@thattravelguy_: One of the best hidden secret temples right next to Tokyo 🍁⛩️👇 📍Heirin Temple, located in the suburbs of Tokyo in Saitama prefecture is a beautiful fall color temple completely off the beaten path; seriously there were maybe a total of 10 people there when I went last fall. With beautiful temple buildings, ponds, an entire forest and plenty of places to explore and discover, you can really feel completely alone in this massive area. If you are coming to Japan this fall, this place needs to be on your itinerary! 🚌From Ikebukuro, take either the Tobu-Tojo Line to Shiki Station or the Seibu Ikebukuro Line to Hibarigaoka Station and then transfer to bus no. 73 to reach Heirinji Bus stop. The Temple will be just across the street.
