It’s so crazy how every journey is different. My first was a traumatic birth and I never produced milk. Like I was DRY. He was formula fed 100%. My second nursed exclusively until she was 3.5 😳, and my last baby I exclusively pumped and had so much milk that I was able to feed a baby who was adopted by a friend of mine. You’re doing great!!

I pumped maaaaaaaybe enough for a full 5 oz bottle every day and my lactation consultant once told me that even 10 ml of breast milk for baby to get so many thousands of nutrients, antibodies, minerals, etc… hearing that changed my mindset completely and alleviated so much pressure I’d felt after seeing the pump and pours of people filling pitchers before lunchtime 🤣

I made a lot but I figured out the secret is the first 2 wks do not introduce a paci & feed on cue even if it’s been 45 minutes since last feed, especially the first week. Just wanted to share for others who may be struggling. 2nd night I cluster fed all night with exception of 45 minutes.

I was a cow 😩 but I tried to help other moms by donating them my milk. My baby was a nicu baby so i definitely hated pumping 24/7.
