Fewer mystery blocks, more straight answers. 👇 READ BELOW What it is: Claude Code is Anthropic's AI helper that works right on your computer. The update says that if your company's rules (called managed settings) ignore the folders or websites you allowed in its sandbox, a fenced-off area it can't leave, the status and doctor check-up screens now warn you. I haven't run it yet, so this is from the update notes. How to use it: 1. If you use Claude Code through work, open it like you normally would. 2. Open the status screen, then the doctor check-up, which is a built-in health scan. 3. Read any warning about your settings being ignored. That means your company's rule won, not that you broke something. 4. If you need that folder or site, send the warning to whoever manages your company's setup. Why it matters: You know the feeling of changing a setting and nothing happens? This tells you whose rule is in charge, so you stop poking at your own settings for an hour. My guess is it saves the most time right when you're first setting things up. Why not: It only warns you, it can't unlock anything, and if you're on your own with no company rules you'll probably never see it. From the Claude Code changelog, v2.1.290.
