This is your final warning.” A group of so-called ‘patriots’ have filmed themselves banning Indian students from a park and giving them a “final warning” not to return. The Chelmsley Wood Patriots, dressed all in black, walked around their local park in Solihull recently on a mission to protect women and children. In a now deleted video, members of the group are seen surrounding and interrogating three Indian international students. "What made you come to England?" one of the patriots asks. “No, we are usually in Birmingham, we just moved here today,” one of the students replies, explaining he came to do his Masters and has been in the UK for two years. One of the patriots then issues a “final warning” to stay away from the public space, saying: “What you need to do is stay away from a children’s park. Do not come round here again. Do not be seen here again. This is your final warning.” He added: “You will not get a warning again, stay away, stay away! Go back to your house, yeah, and stay away. Take yourself back to where you f***** live, then, yeah. “Back to the HMO, go home, go home.” The group wrote on Facebook that they were patrolling because of missing children and reported rapes in the area. Green council candidate Shesh Sheshabhatter said the action amounted to harassment: “There was no reason for the approach other than the students’ ethnicity." The confrontation follows an earlier incident in Thornton village green on 25 September when a group of men, also claiming to be patriots, approached a man sitting on his own in a park and told him to move on because there are “women and children in the park”. The groups appear to be loosely linked to Danny Tommo, who launched the Patriot Platform, and was behind a series of anti-immigrations protests across the UK in recent weeks. #5news #students #patriots
