UNICEF menyebut beberapa tanda yang bisa menjadi petunjuk risiko wasting, di antaranya: 🔎 Anak tampak sangat kurus ⚖️ BB turun, tidak naik, atau kenaikannya tidak cukup 💪 LiLA kecil pada anak usia 6–59 bulan 🦶 Bengkak pada kedua punggung kaki 🍽️ Nafsu makan menurun atau menolak makan/menyusu (UNICEF Global) Khusus bagian kaki, yang perlu diperhatikan justru bengkak pada kedua punggung kaki, bukan sekadar kaki yang terlihat kecil. 🐾 This is why we do what we do. 🐾 Part one of many! We had the opportunity to help three dogs who had been living with severe neglect. Beneath the mats, dirt, and discomfort was a dog who deserved to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Every time we complete a transformation like this, we're reminded that grooming is about so much more than appearance. It's about relief. It's about compassion. It's about giving a dog a fresh start. If we could spend all day, every day helping dogs in situations like this, we absolutely would. There are so many pets who are suffering silently because their families don't have the resources, education, or support they need. That's why Paws-itive Impact exists—to step in where we can, help when we're able, and make a difference one pet at a time. This pup got to leave feeling lighter, more comfortable, and finally seen.
