Baldoni and his company denied the allegations and filed a countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and others. The legal dispute was settled out of court in May 2026 without settlement payments being exchanged between the parties, although Baldoni was ordered to pay a portion of Lively’s legal fees. Despite the controversy, Baldoni has continued spending time with his family and working behind the scenes on film projects.
