this same carwash continued to take out my monthly membership after I canceled it and they had confirmed it was their fault then offered me free vouchers...like no..give me my money back..they finally did after I pitched a fit!

yes. they would 100% be at fault even if there was a disclaimer on the carwash saying they aren't responsible for damage. there's a limit to that disclaimer. if damage was caused by the carwash employee negligence or damage by defective equipment, they would be liable. they should have insurance for this

It’s the driver of the truck with the equipment who is at fault. The car wash employees hold some blame also. They either noticed the truck too late or they were distracted when he entered if it’s a self car wash.
