"She was dressed like everyone else." So if she wasn't you would have treated her differently. Got it.

The argument of treating her like any normal person can back fire on them…assuming they don’t treat the average person very well.🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

So there WAS a pricetag! Their first attempt claimed there wasn't a price tag. #TeamKelly

I bet the store thought a $15k tag would keep people from wanting the bird. Then came someone that can afford the price tag 🤷♂️

Not for sale, but had a price tag. That’s gaslighting lol. There needs to be a “display model” or “not for sale”.

I didn’t realize that was children’s author Adam Rubin 😳 I’ve seen his responses and interviews and I’m so disappointed how he handled this.

And that’s how you know they were just being rude. To jump the price so no one can afford it makes no sense because it was never about the price.

pardon me, but a toy that sings.... with a price tag that high? maybe, just MAYBE this was a misunderstanding because im not spending 15k on some stupid songbird, it sounds like the pricetag is an outrageous price on purpose as a gag and they didnt deliver that message correctly 🙄

The owner and his passive /aggressive bs is making it worse. It clearly is for sale of a price tag marks it for sale and she was obviously dismissed after asking about it.

That “apparently that didn’t live up to her expectations” part is the way you can tell they are rude ones in this situation.
