my thing with the whole quaquaval hate is that for the most part if someone doesn't have reasons to dislike it beyond a visceral reaction to its appearance, it is somewhat connected to homophobia. not calling you homophobic, just saying that that feeling is coming from somewhere. if not then people should be able to explain why they dislike it instead of saying "idk i just don't like it" anyways at least we can all agree empoleon is S tier
