Okay but i will never get over the pipeline of lyrics like "if he drops my name then I owe him nothing" to Travis using her name and getting clout from it on his podcast (yes he was famous before but the number of swifties who I know who had no idea who that man was before Taylor is astronomical) to her deciding that, that is somehow metal and not name dropping especially when the whole thing was that he just expected to be let in to see her bc of who he was with no prior coordination bc entitlement. it baffles me.

This is exactly the problem I feel like sge is facing in her future songwriting. If she diggs stuff from her memories with past lovers and writes things people say she doesn’t love travis, and on the other hand travis is not the most complicated muse for her music at least in my view. I think we have learned from the past ( and even I know as a person who likes to write), writing about past events doesn’t necessarily mean you are “stuck” or don’t love your present anymore. It’s just a way of portraying your new perspectives to it in hindsight! I do not want her to be afraid of sharing music about the past or other people just because she’s married and Travis is a part of “the brand now”. And I’m sure he is fine with it, he married THE TAYLOR SWIFT for god’s sake.
