@bookswithmyles: The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison was brilliant. Pecola’s story is heartbreaking, and it really makes you think about how the world around us can shape the way we see ourselves. Toni Morrison’s writing is beautiful, but the subject matter is anything but easy to sit with. This is one of those books that makes you stop and reflect long after you put it down. Definitely not an easy read, but an important one. This book will go down as one of my favorite reads of all time📚 #BookTok #BookRecommendations #literaryfiction #thebluesteye #classicbooks
Great book, definitely need to take your time to fully appreciate it.

I first read it in high school. Our teacher put it on our syllabus and it was such an impactful read then. I wonder what I may have missed that my adult eyes will now pick up

Her writing is so artistic and beautiful like not other. I cry reading her words. She is one of one.

This is one of my favorite books. Love Toni Morrison and can feel her stories so deeply and see many people I know in her work which is sometimes healing and sometimes opens up a lane for exploration.
