@playfulvoicestudios: I wish I was making this up 😭 This skit was actually inspired by a real vocal coaching reel I came across on Instagram 🥲 Doing vocal exercises doesn't automatically mean you're learning to sing. Don't get me wrong. Vocal warm-ups and exercises absolutely have their place! But simply following scales, repeating patterns, and being told “good job!” without understanding what you're working towards isn't necessarily helping you develop a skill. Good vocal training involves learning to: - Recognize what your voice is doing, - Explore different ways of producing a sound, - Notice what changes and what works, - Reproduce those changes intentionally, - Apply those skills to actual songs. The goal isn't to make students better at following exercises. It's to help them become OWNERS of their own voice. Ultimately, I want my students to understand their voices well enough that they don't need me telling them what to do every step of the way. That's what vocal coaching means to me. If you’re serious in taking your voice to the next level, DM me for ONLINE PRIVATE LESSONS. #vocalcoach #singing #singers #voicelessons
