So what if it’s around sunset, raining and windy, I’m WATCHING fish pop up out the water and I’m throwing top water lures and even rooster tails around stuff like lily pads or overhanging trees and still catching nothing??

went fishing yesterday and we could SEE the bass. im talking 10-15 bass all just chillin by the bank (the water was stupid clear and there was no wind so you could see sooo clearly). threw everything. spoons, roosters, jigs, flukes, even had worms and guess what? They. Did. Not. Bite. we could see them looking at our bait, even following sometimes. they did not care at all. im still so mad about it. had to stop using worms though because bluegill were hammering them down and the bass were just watching them grab at it.

more so. dont have money let alone room for a boat. if you go to a lake or river. waders make it abit more accessible. or just go catfishing and throw the heaviest thing on the biggest pole you have and hope for the best while also still either wading, fishing from a boat or whatever. getting snagged from eels is closer to catching something than most people you at least get a bite while spending alot of money. might as well start gambling on catching fish since "skill games" are banned in Pennsylvania

Smallmouth in the new river go crazy i dont really fish ponds or small lakes literally just cast where u think theres even a chance of fish being there thats where the slabs are ‼️
