@yassworld1: A former San Francisco police deputy chief, Ann Mannix, 65, was found dead alongside her husband, retired detective Kevin Mannix, 68, and their 24-year-old daughter Katie at their home in Mill Valley, California. Investigators are treating the deaths as a suspected murder-suicide, with authorities saying their preliminary investigation points to a male gunman. The family was discovered on Sunday evening after deputies responded to their home. A longtime friend revealed that Ann had spoken about difficulties in her marriage shortly before the tragedy. Ann was remembered as a trailblazer in the San Francisco Police Department, while Katie was studying to become a nurse and was described by relatives as caring and full of life. The investigation remains ongoing as friends, family and former colleagues mourn the three deaths. #sanfrancisco #police #chief #murder #husband
