@massoyanjewelers: This silver snake ring got stuck on its owner’s finger and had to be cut off in the ER. Unfortunately, the cut went diagonally through the scales. Instead of removing more of the original silver, I fabricated a perfectly fitted replacement section, soldered it in, and carved the missing scales by hand. After restoring the black patina and polishing, you’d never know where it was cut. Don’t go to the e.r immediately. Call your local FD and see if they can cut it off. Same thing happened to me and they did it for free 😭 (MAKE SURE TO CALL AHEAD)
