@odette.starbuckbr: 🚨 **Mother, son and her boyfriend in court over the death of Hout Bay teen Amiena Swano** 📍 Amiena Swano, 17, a Grade 11 learner from Hout Bay, disappeared on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2026, after going to a concert with friends. She was later found dead. 💔 🗣️ The State alleges that Denroy Pockpas, 36, strangled her after she visited his home. His mother, Christine Pockpas, 59, and her boyfriend, Ifraam Silver, 49, are accused of helping him hide the body. Police say the body was stuffed into a cupboard, placed in a wheelie bin, and concealed. Christine is also alleged to have tried to clean up blood. 🗑️ 🧬 The body was found on 17 February at Sea View Flats in Hangberg. It was badly decomposed. DNA confirmed it was Amiena. 🕯️ ⚖️ The three face charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice. They are not on trial for a verdict on 22 October 2026.
