Martha Tilaar founded Martha Tilaar Group with a vision that was far ahead of its time: to celebrate Indonesia’s natural ingredients, cultural heritage, and the beauty of Indonesian women. Through Sariayu’s iconic Tren Warna, she brought the richness of Indonesian culture into the world of cosmetics, transforming our heritage into colors that generations of women could wear with pride. Her dedication extended far beyond beauty. She devoted much of her later years to research, innovation, and the preservation of Indonesia’s indigenous ingredients, ensuring that our natural heritage would continue to inspire generations to come. For us at Sobat Konglo, this loss is deeply personal. Ibu Martha was among the very first guests to grace our podcast.
