So we lived near KC. When they were little, we took them to the Nelson Atkins Museum. On the grounds, outside, is a glass maze. We told them not to go so fast thru it, bc they’d hurt themselves. They’re now 18 & 21. I think of that glass maze a lot.

natural consequences are my favorite consequences for my children. as a Gen x kid where we had to learn everything on our own and then get the wrath of parents on top of it being that parent and watching our kids walk into that wall and still being able to catch them is a blessing and a gift
