This is how I felt on a video of a man stubbing his toe on the bed during the night and not screaming but silently just falling and hitting the bassinet and it shaking a little and everyone was tearing his ass up in the comments talking bout “Weaponized incompetence” “they can’t do anything right” “why do they have to ruin everything?” And I’m like damn yall never stubbed your toe on the bed in the night? I also feel like people are mixing necessity with privilege… if it was ANYTHING else that was a necessity that he would have known I would get the comments of weaponized incompetence. But the fact that it’s literally just cookies?? And he’s mad he messed them up?? I didn’t grow up with my mom baking at all and the first time I made cookies I literally did the same thing he did😭😭😭

My finances mom never taught him how to cook or bake and he’s made similar mistakes while I was teaching him. (Yes I enjoy teaching him. It’s a bonding experience for us.) and I have ALSO made similar mistakes when I was learning how to cook and bake. It’s a simple mistake- leave the poor guy alone😭
